Matthew Underhill is an experienced IT leader with a background in delivering secure, scalable, and user-focused technology across global enterprise and academic environments. He currently leads infrastructure, service delivery, and cybersecurity for a multinational organisation, driving infrastructure transformation, operational maturity, and service improvement at scale.
Recently he contributed to his organisations success in earning a King’s Award for Enterprise, which recognised innovation in the digitisation of inspection services across the African metals and minerals sector. Matthew and his team provided the infrastructure that supported this transformation, helping to ensure the platform was stable, scalable, and ready for global deployment.
Matthew is a strong advocate for collaborative, high-performing teams and works closely with stakeholders at all levels to align IT services with business and research goals. He is particularly passionate about building technology foundations that are not only reliable and secure, but adaptable to changing organisational needs.
He is also a recognised member of the NetApp A-Team, a global group of customers and partners who advise and advocate on NetApp strategy, products, and innovation.
