Harshavardhan Mohan integrates synthetic chemistry and spectroscopy to reveal fundamental principles and advanced materials design concepts with technological relevance. Example targets include low-cost, high-efficiency visible light active photocatalysts. My scientific goal is to more deeply understand photo-dynamics of heterogeneous catalyst by measuring the system response under its operating conditions using advanced spectroscopic techniques.
