Looking for a full-time transmission line or structural engineering job
I am a graduate student at Virginia Tech, intending to specialize in structures. I am currently working as a transmission line engineer for AEP. I have supervised multiple construction projects as an assistant supervisor. Additionally, I am working in the structures lab analyzing HDPE and other substances.
Since I was young, I've been interested in buildings and bridges, always thinking to myself, "how can something that big and long be placed there without breaking" or "how did they know how much concrete to use?". With the support from faculty, friends, and family, I have investigated that unknown and hope to further my understanding of bridges and buildings.
I have taken multiple design courses: land development design, intermediate steel, and steel design.
