Akhilesh Pratap Shahi

Deputy Manager - Data Engineer

I'm Akhilesh Pratap Shahi, currently working as the Deputy Manager - Data Engineer at Jio in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. My role here is all about designing and implementing data pipelines, crunching through massive datasets, and finding smart solutions to tricky data problems. It's exciting work that directly impacts Jio's customer experience and helps drive our business forward.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Maharishi Markandeshwar University. Along the way, I've also had the chance to dive into some specialized training in J2SE and J2EE at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, which really broadened my horizons.

Before landing at Jio, I worked in a few other places. I spent some time at mphrX, where I got my hands dirty with healthcare data engineering. And before that, I was at SAR Electric Mobility, where I got to contribute to the development of electric vehicles. It's been a journey that's given me a taste of different industries and challenges.

Aside from my professional gigs, I've also had the privilege of sharing my knowledge as a Python Guest Lecturer at BSA College of Engineering in Mathura and as a Java Trainer in Lucknow. There's something really rewarding about helping others learn and grow in the tech world.

When it comes to tech, I'm pretty versatile. I've worked with Google BigQuery, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Python, SQL, Scala, Java—you name it. I'm always keeping an eye out for new technologies and advancements, especially in the realm of data science and machine learning.

Oh, and on the side, I've dabbled in voice-over work. You might catch my voice in some upcoming movies, like "Token the Treasure".

For me, it's all about that relentless pursuit of knowledge and excellence. I'm constantly looking for ways to push myself, learn new things, and make a positive impact—whether it's through data engineering, teaching, or lending my voice to a project. And hey, I'm always open to connecting with fellow professionals, sharing ideas, and seeing where we can go together.

Thank you for stopping by, and I look forward to connecting with you!
